Prairie Pavilions Featured in Western Art & Architecture Magazine
Western Art & Architecture magazine, the preeminent publication covering art, architecture, and design west of the Mississippi River, featured our Prairie Pavilions home in Joplin, Missouri, in their February/March 2020 issue.
The architecture of this 7,800 square foot home nestled in the green, rolling outskirts of town references Asian and Prairie School design elements, and is further imbued with our Midwest Modern approach. Expansive glass walls give a strong visual connection to the raw natural surroundings; long, low proportions and broad, protective overhangs anchor the home to the prairie horizon; and simple, well-crafted natural materials echo the practical sensibilities of the history and culture of this place.
WA&A also highlighted Freese Architecture in its October/November 2013 issue in their repeating column called Illuminations.
